Britney's New Dude (Old New dude)

TMZ is reporting

Our sources say over the last few months Adnan has been getting into The Summit, the gated community where Brit lives. They have been "together," though we can't say it's still going on. We know they have been texting back and forth, at times complaining that Daddy Jamie is too "controlling" by trying to the put kibosh on the relationship.

But here's the deal. Daddy Jamie's job is to be controlling -- that's what a conservator does. And, sources tell us, Jamie's concern over his daughter seeing Adnan is not just his opinion -- the doctors who are treating Brit have told him it would be a bad thing for Brit to hook up with the dude.

Stay tuned.

SPENCER IS SORRY!!

Spencer Pratt has apologized to Mary-Kate Olsen for calling her "the less cute twin."

Pratt, 24, fired off a tersely-written statement to Usmagazine.com after Olsen, 22, told David Letterman The Hills star used to throw temper tantrums during their high school soccer games.

"I apologize for getting caught up in trash talking, but she brought up an emotional subject when she mentioned the soccer stuff," Pratt tells Us exclusively.

"I know Dave was just doing his job in asking her," he went on. "He's the best in the game at that."

Pratt even admitted he was a bit envious of the twin.

"I respect Mary Kate as a business-woman," he said. "I'm secretly jealous of her. I want my face on a lunchbox, too!"

Sources told Us that the Olsen-Pratt fight began after he sold high school photos of a tipsy-appearing Olsen to Star magazine.

Britney Gibson?

National Enquirer is reporting that Mel tried to hook Britney up with her son!
Somehow i doubt this. ;D

Mel Gibson tried to play matchmaker between his son and Britney Spears, it has been claimed.

According to American tabloid the National Enquirer, the 'Braveheart' actor tried to hook Britney up with one of his twin sons, Edward -- who was recently in rehab for cocaine and alcohol addiction.

Mel thought his son -- who has turned his life around since he was admitted to the Cri-Help rehab facility in Hollywood last year -- could help the troubled Toxic singer do the same.

A source tells the publication, "Mel felt Ed would be a great influence on Brit, and if the relationship turned into romance, all the better."

Mel then arranged a meeting between the pair at Britney's Hollywood Hills home last March, says the source.

"He sincerely believed that his son could help Britney stay on the straight and narrow and that they might hit it off as a couple as well," the source adds.

But Spears refused to see Ed, and hid from him and Mel as soon as they arrived at her house.

The source continues, "She hid from them for most of the night. Mel and his son spent most of their evening talking to her bodyguards!"

Though his matchmaking didn't work, Britney has been touched by his offers of support.

"Mel has become her close confidante," says the source. "Mel's helped out other stars, such as Robert Downey Jr. -- and he'd love to see Britney do as well as Robert has."

Christina on her new album in GLAMOUR Aug 2008,

The last time I interviewed Christina Aguilera for Glamour, it was in October 2006 and she was gearing up for her Back to Basics world tour. After I watched her grueling rehearsal, we sat down in her dressing room for a late-night chat. At the time, she was a confessed workaholic with a penchant for severe red lips, towering stilettos and perfectly manicured nails. She rarely met my eyes during the interview--a technique, she told me at the time, that helped her gather her thoughts--and while she was articulate, she seemed to choose her words very carefully. Almost two years later, I meet a very different Christina: The first thing I notice is that she looks me directly in the eyes--a nice improvement. She's relaxed and eager to talk about life with her six-month-old son, Max, and her husband of nearly three years, music exec Jordan Bratman. Her appearance is softer too. She wears her hair in a tousled ponytail and apologizes for her unmanicured nails. But as we talk about her career, it's clear that Aguilera's focus is as razor-sharp as ever: She's been working out 90 minutes a day to get back to her prebaby body, not to mention launching a new perfume called Inspire, promoting a jewelry line with designer Stephen Webster and working on an album that's set for release later this year. (Oh, and the woman's still a night owl: We meet at 10 P.M. at a West Hollywood lounge because she wanted to spend a full day with baby Max.) What else is new in this 27-year-old's life? Read on!

GLAMOUR: You're obviously back into fighting shape, so let's discuss this workout of yours: boxing, running backward on a treadmill while going uphill, crunches, weights, pull-ups--it sounds brutal.

CHRISTINA AGUILERA: [Laughs.] I hate working out--I have to mentally push myself through it. I can get very whiny, saying things like, "I can't do it!"

GLAMOUR: Does your trainer crack the whip when you get like that?

CA: No--I can't deal with having someone barking at me. Mean training is not motivating to me at all; I like to be comforted [through my workout]. All my trainer has to do is say nicely, "I want you to do 200 bicycles; go right through it and don't stop." Then I'll know she's serious and I'll do it. I started out not being able to do man push-ups; pull-ups were a big one too. Now I can do five in a row.

GLAMOUR: You look great, Christina. How quickly did you notice a change in your body?

CA: Being the perfectionist that I am, my attitude was, this had better hurry up--I want results! My trainer kept saying, "Give it time, you're looking great." Everyone around me was saying they could see a difference, but, you know, you're hardest on yourself. I did see my stomach get flatter and tighter and more muscle definition.

GLAMOUR: What did you like the least about your postbaby body and what did you like the most?

CA: Well, I was OK with the booty and the boobs! [Laughs.] My stomach was really where I carried my weight. Toward the end of my pregnancy, I felt really big--I gained about 40 pounds, which is a lot for my size. My hips also changed significantly. And my feet grew from a size 5 to a size 7 in flats--thank God they [went back to normal]. I would have been so depressed if I had to get rid of my shoe collection!

GLAMOUR: Let's talk about your new album: Can we expect to see you reinvent yourself as you did for Back to Basics?

CA: I just started recording it, but I can tell you that this record is all about fun. I'll be referencing Pop Art, Andy Warhol's art. So it will [sound] fun and fast-paced, and visually, it will be full of color, which is how it's going to tie in with my new fragrance, Inspire [in stores next month].

GLAMOUR: So Warhol, Pop Art--will it have a sixties sound to it?

CA: I want it to be a surprise! But there's also going to be a modern element to it that comes from my love of Tokyo.

GLAMOUR: I used to live there!

CA: Really? [Jordan] and I vacation there. There's such excitement and energy. It's just a zillion people walking around--it's an incredible place.
GLAMOUR: How do people react to you in Tokyo? They must go nuts.

CA: You know what's great? I'm a pretty petite person, so I just put on a hood or a hat and blend in.

GLAMOUR: What? That does not seem possible! Has being a new mom influenced your music?

CA: Absolutely--my little boy breathes new life into me. That's one of the reasons I decided to go in a playful direction with this album. I've spoken openly about the domestic violence I experienced growing up.

GLAMOUR: Now that you're a mom, is it even harder to grasp the concept of child abuse?

CA: Yes--even watching the news when you hear about babies being shaken. Of course you have compassion for children, but when you have your own, you feel it on a much deeper level. So I'm motivated to speak out even more; to do more charity work; to help children find [safe] homes.

GLAMOUR: Despite your tough childhood, you grew up into a solid person. What do you think when you see people in your industry, like Amy Winehouse, self-destruct?

CA: I'm not a judgmental person, so I can't comment on someone else's background. [As for me], I think I've always had a strong sense of self. My mom brought me up to believe that my talent is a gift and a blessing. But I have definitely made some mistakes that I would never do again.

GLAMOUR: Like what?

CA: When I was 21 and made Stripped, I was pretty distraught about some personal issues coming up from my past. I was going out and partying a lot--as people do at that age--and did some very unhealthy things to deal with the pain. But I was able to say, "OK, hold on."

GLAMOUR: But for some reason, you weren't caught on camera doing it.

CA: Thank God! [Laughs.]

GLAMOUR: You probably couldn't have gotten away with that now.

CA: I don't think so. [It wasn't until] the wave of reality TV that [our culture's] obsession with celebrity got so crazy. I think a lot of people thrive on that stuff.

GLAMOUR: So how do you manage nowadays to avoid paparazzi?

CA: A lot of people go out of their way [to be photographed]; I make a conscious effort to keep me and my family out of the limelight. The other day a paparazzo actually pulled up to my husband on the street and said, "Geez, I know the new house is big, but I've been trying to get a picture of you for months--you never leave the house!" And it's true: I'll go out at night after spending time with my son, but [during the day] I just hang out on my grounds, taking him for walks in the stroller in the backyard where we won't be seen.

GLAMOUR: Has having a child changed your relationship with your own mother?

CA: It's given me a deeper understanding of the things she went through. She had a difficult childhood, and I think she wanted to make sure [I didn't go through that]--[yet] she ended up marrying an abuser. My mom was so giving, almost too much, that she almost forgot about herself many times. So I'm careful to make time for myself. Rather than change who I am for Max, I bring the life lessons I've learned to the table.

GLAMOUR: How do you manage to make time for yourself?

CA: Obviously I didn't do anything today--you're not allowed to look at my nails!

GLAMOUR: How has your relationship with Jordan changed since the baby?

CA: It's brought us closer--we're bonded together for life. Relationships and great marriages are a whole learning and growing process. We're just great teammates.

GLAMOUR: So, how do you guys keep things sexy these days?

CA: We make sure we have Mommy and Daddy nights out. Our child comes first, obviously, but there are certain things you can do: Once we know he's in good hands, we go out late at night and have a few drinks. Then we'll come home, dim the lights and do our thing--and I'm not going into any more detail than that!

well, i'm just glad she dropping her "RAW & GRITTY" sound. Don't get me wrong, it was fun while it lasted, but time to move on. And loose the red lipstick please :D

Wall-E' is a hit

Wall*E posted the highest opening day for a Pixar film EVER. $23.5 million. That puts it close to a $70 million opening weekend! It is also currently the best-reviewed film of 2008 with a 96% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Wanted also did amazingly well. $18.5 million opening day, which could potentially give it a $50 million opening, but $45 million is more likely.

Kate & Lance Have a Beachside Lunch with Goldie Hawn

Lance Armstrong and Kate Hudson have already spent time with each other's kids. On Tuesday, the couple kept their relationship all in the family by hanging out with her mother.

Casually dressed in a gray Nike T-shirt and matching pants, the cycling champ, along with Hudson and her mom, actress Goldie Hawn, met for a late lunch Tuesday afternoon at Ivy at the Shore in Santa Monica, Calif.

The trio, along with an unidentified male, arrived just before 2 p.m. They got some privacy from fellow diners and the throng of paparazzi camped out front by sitting on the patio at the back of the beachside restaurant.

"They looked like they were having a great time and enjoying each other's company," says an onlooker. "Goldie was all smiles. Lance was sitting next to her and they were chatting while Kate was laughing. They were all just really happy."

A tanned Hudson, wearing a long turquoise halter dress, sat on the other side of her beau during the intimate lunch. At the end of the meal, the group left together through the front entrance.

Madonna & Guy Enjoy Dinner – Together! – in N.Y.C.

Diners at New York City's 'Cesca, an Italian eatery on the Upper West Side, got a surprise Tuesday night when Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie walked in, holding hands.

They looked "like a normal couple that just wanted to have a nice dinner out," says an onlooker. "They looked very unassuming. Not like they were looking for attention."

Seasoned New Yorkers are quite accustomed to spotting celebrities at the restaurant (and Madonna does have an apartment in the neighborhood). Still, seeing the queen of pop and her director husband together in public is a rare occurrence – and a meaningful one.

"Everyone was whispering and saying, 'Wow, that was Madonna. She is supposed to be separating from her husband. I can't believe she is here,'" the observer adds.

But Madonna and Ritchie didn't flinch. The couple, who've been plagued by breakup rumors, continued with their cozy, hour-long dinner before leaving – also hand-in-hand.

"Madonna's husband Guy arrived in New York last night to be with his wife and family (not in a last-ditch attempt to save his marriage which does not need saving)," the singer's rep Liz Rosenberg told PEOPLE Tuesday. "There are no plans for Madonna and Guy to divorce."

Joel Madden: No Plans to Marry Nicole Richie

For Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, the wedding bells can wait – at least for a little while.

"We don't have any plans for that right now," Madden told PEOPLE on Wednesday. "We're just happy, and we're being a family, and that's where we're at right now. But marriage means something different to everyone."

As a celebrity DJ at the Oakley/Suzuki Celebrity Ride Day event in Perris, Calif., Madden took turns spinning records, and quelling notions of a summer rush to the altar.

"Right now we're really happy," the Good Charlotte frontman says, "and we're concentrating on our family, and that's what is making us happy right now. We're moving at our own pace."

The new father has his mind now on raising little daughter Harlow. "It's crazy," he says. "Every day she does something new. When she reaches for me, it's awesome! Just watching her grow, it melts me!"

Loni Anderson's Sweet Happily Ever After

Her latest relationship may have been 45 years in the making – but things are looking sweet for Loni Anderson.

The actress, 62, wed folk singer Bob Flick in California on May 17. Strikingly, it was a posed photo in 1963 that first united the two – the same photo that decorates their wedding cake.

As the story goes, the two met at a movie premiere in Minneapolis when Anderson was sent by a local newspaper for a fan photo op with Flick, whose group the Brothers Four scored a hit with their song "Greenfields." The Burt Reynolds ex and Flick – pictured here – are ready to dive into dessert during their reception June 23 at Vibrato Grill Jazz ... Etc. in Bel Air, Calif.

The inscription on the cake reads, "When we met, 5-17-63," indicating they have indeed come full circle – to the day!

Sarah Jessica Parker Eyes New Single-in-City Role

Taking Carrie Bradshaw to the big screen proved a shrewd move for Sarah Jessica Parker – the Sex and the City movie's so far raked in more than $300 million – and now she's eyeing the role of another single urban professional.

The star, 43, is in discussions with Warner Bros. about a screen version of novelist Karen Quinn's The Ivy Chronicles, described by the Hollywood Reporter as an up-to-date take about class and the single woman in Manhattan – though unlike Bradshaw, title character Ivy Ames moves out of the Upper East Side after the double whammy of a job loss and a divorce.

She has to withdraw her children from their expensive private school, though they also provide her with a eureka moment: Ames starts a service to help women land their kids in upper-crust kindergartens.

The trade paper likens The Ivy Chronicles to The Devil Wears Prada meets The Nanny Diaries, with a dash of the TV mini-series The Starter Wife thrown in.

Jerry Weintraub, the honcho behind the Ocean's Eleven franchise, is poised to produce.

Madonna's Rep: No Divorce, No Affair

Madonna's spokeswoman has released an exclusive statement to PEOPLE rejecting reports that the singer's marriage to her film director husband Guy Ritchie is on the rocks.

"Madonna's husband Guy arrived in New York last night to be with his wife and family (not in a last ditch attempt to save his marriage which does not need saving)," Liz Rosenberg told PEOPLE. "There are no plans for Madonna and Guy to divorce."

Rosenberg also denied a published report of a relationship between the singer and New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez.

"Madonna and Alex have the same manager, Guy Oseary," Rosenberg says. "They have met. They know each other and Madonna took her kids to a Yankees game last week. There's really not anything to comment on beyond that."

Adds Rosenberg: "It's nothing new that people are airing tons of dirty laundry Madonna's way lately – much of it untrue." She joked: "By the way, rumors of Madonna and Lil Wayne are quite exaggerated, as well."

Angelina Jolie's Doctor to Give Update Today

"Angelina Jolie will give birth in Nice," announces the newspaper sign taped to a pole not far from the hospital where the actress is being treated.

Although the pregnant actress has been described by the Nice-Matin newspaper as "the most famous woman on the planet," life goes on outside the hospital virtually unchanged – for now.

While several photographers milled about nearby, only a single camera crew stood outside the main entrance Wednesday morning. But the scene will soon be far less sleepy, now that hospital spokeswoman Nadine Bauer has confirmed that Jolie's doctor, Michel Sussmann, will address the media at 11:30 a.m. ET.

"Madame Jolie's doctor will be updating her condition at the hospital and giving medical details," said Bauer. "Madame Jolie is doing very well." Jolie has even had a few vistors. Beau Brad Pitt dropped by with two special guests Wednesday: daughters Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2.

Jolie, who is expecting twins, checked into the medical center this weekend.

Since then, the paper reports, she and Pitt – who already have four children, Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara and Shiloh – have been staying at a four-room maternity suite overlooking the Bay of Angels.

Time will tell if it's true, as the newspaper claims, that "Madame Pitt" is carrying twin daughters. In the meantime, it seems that Nice-Matin has coined a new definition for VIP – describing it as a "very important pregnancy."
